- All footage must be shot using ONLY the Canon EOS HD enabled DSLRs – eligible current models are: EOS 1D Mk IV, EOS 5D Mk II, EOS 7D, EOS Rebel T1i.
- All submissions must be in the H.264 Apple QuickTime file format.
- All submissions to be at 1920 x 1080 or 1280 x 720 resolution.
- No movie can exceed 4 minutes long ….. 240 seconds or shorter.
- Only the four Canon EOS camera bodies listed in Rule #1 can be use, but contestants are allowed to use any combination of Canon and other manufacturer’s lenses.
- The Can-Do Film Festival and Competition will run from January 1st 2010 through to midnight March 20th 2010.
- Winners will be announced in Las Vegas during April 2010.
- Every submission must be accompanied by a Release Form – no Release Form, no Acceptance.
- Filmmakers can submit more than one movie or the same movie to more than category, but each submission must have its own Registration Fee and Release Form.
- Absolutely no nudity or pornography or unnecessary violence allowed – Can-Do Film Festival retains the right to remove at its sole discretion any material deemed unsuitable with no refund.
- Can-Do Film Festival retains the right to show submitted material in anyway suitable – with full credit being given to the Filmmakers.
- No employee of RAWworks or Canon Inc or any of the Can-Do Judges can submit a movie to the competition.
